crazy busy week
took a friend to the airport yesterday, then met up with my cousin and finally met her month old baby, i think technically im her second cousin, but we decided that was weird and that I’m more of an ‘Uncle’. Her name is Skyler, and like every other cousin on my moms side of the family, has big blue eyes. shes really cute, and fell asleep in my arms today!
grandma stayed in with the baby last night, and we went bar hopping with the hells angels, which was awesome.
picked up a different friend from the airport on my way back to SC today, then came straight to work. since ive gotten here, ive been really productive, the site getting closer to going live which is really exciting.
tomorrow i get to go APPLE’S CAMPUS IN CUPERTINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not going to lie, one of my nerd dreams is about to come true. I have an interview for their retail division, hopefully they can take me on part-time, cuz theres no way id leave my current job as an IT specialist/web designer.
after the interview its back to santa cruz for the beach boardwalk concert, greg rollie!!! and then in the morning heading back over the hill again to meet up with my other cousin and then TAHOE!!!!!
I love sumer, and I’m so glad I still have over a month!!!!
time home
was spent having fun, and not working.
which is exactly why I’m in my office early monday morning. do I care? no because id be up this late anyways and im getting payed and this weekend was incredible.

I remembered my tumblr password and was finally able to log back in on the iPhone app!
Anyways, it’s been an incredible visit home, I LOVE my new car, actually excited to drive it home & watch it get 39 mpg.
It had been almost 6 months since I had been down south, I actually miss some parts about it! Other things, like the heat, not so much.
Time for a target run, with my mom of coarse, so that she can front the bill. Then it’s back to the Cruz where I have hours of work ahead of me.

Today I sat at a cafe shop working on my computer… and got payed by the hour. I have landed my college dream job.
Tomorrow I’m going into the UCSC Recreation Department office where I have my own desk that I can see the ocean from. I’m going to be their resident IT guy. I’m currently working on redesigning their very dated website. I’ll be training their employees how to use their online systems, create a mobile web site that can be accessed from any mobile web browser, graphic design, etc. Best part? I can work from where ever there’s an Internet connection. If I’m in my office and its sunny outside and there’s waves I can get up and go surfing. Or I can just not go into the office and do work from my house.
I couldn’t be happier with my very first full time office job doing things I enjoy!!
I guess at some point I should get up and start my day…

Santa Cruz summa…
Life in Santa Cruz over summer is so hard… Practically unbearable. I wish I lived in a better place. The Santa Cruz 80 degree sunny days just aren’t sitting it!!!!
So much to do!
In a little bit I’m heading to Oakland for my cousins baby shower, but this isn’t any ordinary baby shower, guys are invited and its a BBQ!!! And its at the Oakland Hells Angels Clubhouse!!! The father of the baby is a member of the club, and I’m excited to go. Only the way I have to stop at Target and get them something, most likely will end up being a gift card.
But what I’m not excited about is getting back to Santa Cruz tonight….
because I haven’t packed a single thing and I have to be outta my apartment by 8:00am tomorrow. bleeehhhh
